Chiranjit Bordoloi

I am Chiranjit Bordoloi. I currently live in Michigan with my wife Anjori and our two adorable children Rwixita and Rwixabh. I was born and brought up in Guwahati, Assam. I studied at Cotton Collegiate School, then Cotton College and finally completed my BE from Assam Engineering College. I was state rank holder and University topper in my academic career. I completed my MS in Electrical & Computer Engineering in 2012. I started my professional career at Tata Motors, then worked at various renowned companies like Airbus, Boeing, Daimler, Chrysler, Fiat, Lear and Ford. By profession I am an Electrical Engineer. Music and Assamese Teaching are two of my main hobbies. I am also the founder of OAKOKHO, the first Assamese Digital platform to learn and teach Assamese language using various interactive online apps. I have already written and edited more than 50 digital flip books in Assamese. I have been teaching Assamese to young children across North America every Sunday since 2018. I came across AANA, when I went to Assam Convention 2010 at Nashville. Since then I have been involved with various AANA activities including Assam Convention Cultural Event Organizer, PRONAAM Magazine Editor, VP of Mid West Zone, Storytelling Project, Assamese Teaching Project, Summer Internship Animation Project etc. I am grateful to the General Body for giving me this opportunity to serve as the Executive Vice President for the 2021-2023 term. I am looking forward to working with my colleagues in the Executive Committee and in the regions to build on the strong foundation that has been laid down by all the office bearers that have preceded us. We will always need your support to keep the organization running smoothly.
