Debarshi Sharma
I am Debarshi Sharma. I am from Tinsukia, Assam. And currently settled in Austin, Texas with my wife Pinky and my two daughters Akshita and Alyssa. Before moving to Austin in 2019, I was living in the Bay Area, California for 5 years. I did my schooling from Sainik School, Goalpara, Assam. And then completed my B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from Regional Engineering College, Allahabad. Started my career as an Automobile engineer with Tata Motors, and eventually changed my career to move into the IT industry and joined Oracle. Currently I am working as a Product Manager at Salesforce. I am an active member of the Assamese community in Austin we call ‘Axom in Austin’. I have been involved in planning and organizing the community events in Austin every year. My association with AANA is fairly new. I was fortunate to be an active member of the 2022 Assam Convention held in Houston, Texas. And that gave me a good opportunity to meet many members of AANA and to understand what they do and I was really impressed. And that is when I decided to become a life member of this organization. And I am proud of my decision. I feel proud and privileged to be a part of the AANA Executive Committee and look forward to serving the community to the best of my ability. And looking forward to many more great things in the future for this organization.
